SL KART MEETING

The SL kart meetings, known as the “SL race”, is the most popular kart race in the country. Its big feature is that all competitors should use the same Yamaha engines which brings competition down to the drivers’ skill. Currently, the common regulations are applied at racing tracks all over Japan.

NATIONAL SL KART MEETING CHAMPIOSHIP

The top rankers of all the local SL kart race series will make it to a racing track and compete in the national championship. This special, so as to say “grand prix” of kart meetings has been held every year since 1977.
It will be the thirty eighth championship in 2014 and you will find the names of many famous professional racing drivers among its champions.
Another important purpose of this event is to get to know drivers of remote regions through the sport who rarely have a chance to see each other. They will have a fun time together at the pre-night party, as well as on the racing track.
